David, as an independent college consultant for families who need some extra help with their child’s college search, I appreciate your perspective. Visiting a college (not 20 colleges!) in 9th grade can help a student start getting into the college-going mindset. He or she can start to see themselves beginning a journey that will ultimately lead to a career and a happy, fulfilling life. We always ask our children, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” but often it is difficult for them to see how they might get there. Thanks for sharing your fun experience with your son!
